I was struck by the contrast between the bent, dark tree and the bright sunlight behind it…

I’m in awe of nature—from the smallest flower to magnificent displays in the sky.

Pathway:

Created for an exhibit, this piece became something more personal….

It represents rebuilding myself after cancer treatments.

Even when I was in darkness, I looked for the light. I focused on the good in each day, even in the next 30 seconds.

Flowers:

Based on ‘hevel’ —nothing lasts.

Everything has a purpose, even our pain.

There is a time for joy and a time for sorrow. Things fade, but there is always beauty, in God’s Word, and His promises.
